Type Locality and Naming

Includes in Khation Region, Sughd Region, Darvaz district, Dushanbe - west Shirkent-Luchob, Dushanbe - east Shirkent-Luchob.

Lithology and Thickness

In the Kafirnigan district, the Akrobat horizon consists of gray clays and marls with a thickness of 40-60 m, containing interbeds of shell limestones.
